Weighed down by Menopause??

There are also a lot of myths surrounding Menopause. I firmly believe with a focused lifestyle plan we can prevent all hormonal shifts during this phase from affecting our health and wellbeing.

A new UCLA- led study confirms that women undergoing perimenopause lose lean body mass and more than double their fat mass.  

The research also shows that BMI is an important tool for predicting health events, such as diabetes and cardiovascular issues.

However we can beat this by something as simple as  Mindfulness 

Mindfulness is a simple practice of training our brain to stay completely focused in the present moment.

This may be associated with fewer menopausal symptoms according to several studies.

The benefits are endless:

2) Helps maintain ideal weight

3) Reduces hot flushes

4) Induces better sleep

5) Reduces mood swings
